I’m not one to usually comment on the lives of the rich and famous, but a recent incident involving Kim K at the Vienna Opera peeked my interest.
I think a reason that this incident is ruffling a lot of feathers is because she is a mother and woman who is engaged to be married. There seems to be something ‘sacred’ about being an engaged/married woman, or someone else’s lady, or a mother; which may explain why some are angered by Kim K’s decision. Apart from the alleged accusations of inappropriate behavior from Richard Lugner, if she were single and without child I’m not sure the fact that she decided to be Richard’s date for the evening would have been met so much adverse reactions.
Secondly, the other dynamic of this incident is concerning the money and under which condition was the money for. I didn’t read any where in this article where it was mentioned for what reason did Richard pay $500,000 and to whom. Which leaves a lot people to speculate. Whether she was paid to be his date or the money was given to charity, this is entire fiasco was unfortunate.
